Indian Navy has invited applications for the recruitment of Indian male candidates for joining the Indian Navy in Naval Armament Inspection (NAI) Entry Scheme (Permanent Commission) Course which will commence on June 2017 at the Indian Naval Academy Ezhimala, Kerala. Eligible candidates need to know that they should be unmarried. The aspirants can apply online from November 19, 2016 to December 09, 2016. Aspirants are required to go through other details like age limit, educational qualification, selection process.
Candidate are required to possess BE/ B.Tech degree or in the final year of Engineering Course in any one stream Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Production, Instrumentation, IT, Chemical Metallurgy and Aerospace Engineering with minimum 60% aggregate marks till V semester.
Candidates will be selected in two stages . The Stage I will comprise of intelligence test, Picture Perception and Discussion test while Stage II will comprises of Psychological testing, Group testing, Interview and Medical Examination.

Candidates will be issued call up letters for Service Selection Board (SSB) interviews based on their performance in educational qualification. Integrated Headquarters, Ministry of Defence (Navy) reserves the right to short list applications and to fix cut off percentage. Aspirants are also required to note that no communication will be entertained on this account. The SSB interviews for short-listed candidates will be scheduled from December 16 to March 17 at Bangalore/Bhopal/Coimbatore/Visakhapatnam.
Shortlisted candidates will be informed about their selection for SSB interview on their e-mail id. According to the official notification, the officers will be on probation for a period of two years or till completion of their initial training (whichever is later), during which they are liable to be discharged if their performance is unsatisfactory on professional/medical/disciplinary grounds.
