Aircraft’s are one of those things everyone is fascinated about.Wright Brothers achieved something that never existed before. We all at one point of time wanted to be Pilots. Now,there are Aircraft’s and then there are Big Aircraft’s.These Giant Machines could way upto 300,000 kilos(628,317 lb) and lift stuff heavier as much as 122,470 kg (270,000 lb) .These Flying Machines could even move is a miracle itself.
These are the Largest Aircraft’s in the world currently in service :
1. Antonov An-225 Mriya
The Antonov An-225 Mriyais a Strategic Airlift Cargo aircraft that was designed by the Soviet Union’s Antonov Design Bureau in the 1980s. The An-225’s name, Mriya means “Dream” (Inspiration) in Ukrainian. It is powered by six turbofan engines and is the Longest and Heaviest airplane ever built, with a maximum takeoff weight of 640 tonnes. It also has the largest wingspan of any aircraft in operational service. There only exists one AN-225 which is operated by Antonov Airlines.A second Airframe was partially built; its completion was halted because of lack of funding and interest.
