Weapons used by NSG Commandos or popularly known as Black Cat Commandos

National Security Gaurd or NSG is Counter-Terrorism Unit of  India. These units are best of the best when it comes to combat. NSG was formed in 1987 after the assassination of then Indra Gandhi. Since then, NSG has tackled many terrorist attacks including the 2008 Mumbai Attacks. NSG get its most personals mainly from Army though NSG is not part or Indian Army.NSG is modeled like the German GSG 9.

NSG has two Wings.A Strike wing known as Special Action Group (SAG) and a VIP Protection Group know as Special Ranger Group (SRG). SRG conducts Counter Terror Operations whereas SRG provides Security to High-Risk VIP like Chief Minister and Prime Minister.

NSG also deploys its personnel’s on-board flights as Air marshals to deal with Hijackers.

Being such an Elite Unit, NSG uses most advanced weapon systems and equipment.
